PENANG LAKSA

Laksa Penang or
Laksa Pulau Pinang is a kind of sauced noodle food and is said to originate
from the food of the Chinese people who came to migrate to Malaya. This dish is
the only Malaysian food that is on the list of the 50 most delicious foods in
the world.
The basic ingredients are the same as laksa in other states in Malaysia. Uniquely, Penang Laksa uses noodles made from wheat flour or rice flour. To add flavor, petis or shrimp paste essence is mixed or enjoyed with the filling of mackerel fish gravy and other types of fish for additional flavor.
