WADAI KIPENG (DESSERT)

Wadai Kipeng or by another name by the Banjar community of the Alai tribe in Johor, Gayam is a type of traditional Banjar cuisine of dessert that has some similarities such as Puteri Mandi and Bubur Candil. Wadai Kipeng/Gayam is made from glutinous rice flour mixed with salt water and lime and then kneaded into small balls.
