STIRRED GLUTINOUS RICE

Kacau is also known as Nasi Manis (Sweet Rice) or Wajik. It is made of
glutinous rice usually cooked in nira juice that is coconut juice obtained from
the coconut's blossom.
There are many methods of cooking this delicacy. The normal ones are that the glutinous rice is either cooked until soft, or half cooked so that the rice produces a sound when chewed. However, the method of preparing the glutinous rice half cooked is seldom done as not many people like the sound produced by the rice when chewed and, therefore, assume that the rice is hard.
