RUNNING IN A GUNNY SACK

This traditional game us popular among the Malaysian communities. The main tool is the gunny sack. The court is a spacious area with flat surface. There is no specified duration set for this game and the total number of players too depends on situation and mutual agreement.

A marked line is drawn as the starting place of the game. The game methodology is just to insert both feet and the body up to the waist level into the gunny. When the whistle is blown players have to run while holding the gunny's edges to avoid falling. The player who arrives first at the finishing line is considered the winner. Players who fall or exited out of the gunny have to restart the game from the starting line.
