'LINOPOT' WRAPPED RICE

In the Kadazandusun language, Linopot means
'wrapped tightly'. Also known as 'wrapped rice', the rice is tightly packed and
wrapped in tarap (a traditional fruit) leaf called doringin. The usage
of this leaf emits a natural scent of aromatic rice.
This traditional food is a heritage cuisine
passed on to generations and is still available today. Normally, this wrapped
rice contains other traditional foods such as yam, sweet potato, and tapioca.
