'KARAS' TRADITIONAL CRISPY CAKE

Kuih Karas is made of rice flour. The cake looks like vermicelli but It is crispy and sweet. The rice flour is mixed into a thin texture and shuffled on hot cooking oil using a special mould made of pierced coconut shell with many holes. The cake is then folded when cooked.
