FAN PALM LEAF RICE
Ketupat Palas is a traditional food of the Malay community in northern West Malaysia especially in Perlis. It is usually served during the Moslem celebrations of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha. This cuisine uses glutinous rice wrapped in fan palm leaves shaped into a triangle. It is served together with chicken or beef rendang and also serunding.
