A MERCHANT RICE

Nasi Dagang is a special local cuisine well known in Terengganu and normally served as a breakfast menu. Traditionally, the rice is wrapped in banana leaf formed like a cone and tied with the vein of coconut leaf.
The dish is normally made of a mixture of rice and glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, then served with fish with its gravy cooked in a special spice. The usual fish used is the big sized tuna cut into pieces. This rice is also served with cucumber pickle as an addition.
