INTRODUCTION

The skipper is an expert in sailing and his duties are huge. He is a medicine-man and also a group leader. He is also to dive into the sea to seek the availability of fish and others. This tradition is still practiced but not at large. To some sailors the tradition must be practiced to ensure their safety while in the open sea.
