PORTUGUESE CUISINE DEVIL'S CURRY

Some people say that this debal curry is named after its overly spicy taste. This bald curry is a spicy curry without using any curry powder and contains other spices such as hard fruit, arc and vinegar. It is a traditional Portuguese cuisine in Malacca and Singapore. Usually it is served on Christmas Day or special occasions that are celebrated together with family members.


INGREDIENTS:

 

Chicken

Dried Chilli

Onion

Red Chilli

Potato Tubers

Lengkuas

Lemongrass

Ginger

Live Turmeric

Ripe Vinegar

Hard Fruits

Mustard Seeds

Javanese acid

Salt

 

HOW TO COOK:

 

Boil the chilli dry and grind

Slice large onions in the form of dice.

Grind the onion, lemongrass, lengkuas, ginger, live turmeric, until all ingredients are mixed.

Fry ginger until crispy.

Saute the ground chilli with the ground ingredients and mustard seeds until the smell rises and breaks the oil

Add the chicken and then the potato tubers

Place the tamarind water

Mix all this material up to abrick

Add cooked vinegar

Sprinkle the red chillies and halia that was fried earlier as a garnish.
